Q: What is the pricing for AAS23?

Q: When does Early Pricing End? 

To take advantage of early bird pricing, you must register on or before March 19, 2023. 

 

Q: What payment methods are accepted for registration? 

A: The online registration platform is set up to accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. If you cannot pay by Credit Card, please contact Central Office by emailing AAS23@suicidology.org or calling (202) 237-2280 ext. 301 to make arrangements. 

 

Q: How can I become a member of AAS? 

A: For over 50 years, AAS has led the charge on efforts to understand, analyze, and prevent suicide and suicidal behavior through engaging in several aspects of suicidology. Explore membership opportunities at: suicidology.org/members. 

 

Q: Registration Cancellation Policy  

A: 

  • Registration cancelled on or before February 18, 2023 is refundable but subject to a $100 administrative fee. 
  • Registration cancellation on or after February 19, 2023 but before March 19, 2023 will receive a refund of 50% of the total registration cost. 
  • Registration cancelled on or after March 20, 2023 will not receive a refund. 

The refund and cancellation policy will not be waived. 

 

Q: Registration Substitution  

A: Registration fees may be transferred to another registering individual for the 2023 Annual Conference. Transferred fees must be requested at the time of cancellation. Fees may not be transferred after the cancellation has been completed and any refund (if applicable based on the dates indicated above) has been processed. Unclaimed registration fees cannot be transferred to a future AAS. 

 

Q: Group Registration Discount  

A: Take advantage of the group discount - by purchasing four registrations at full price, you will get 50% off the 5th registration. This does not apply for the full day Psychological Autopsy Certification Training pre-conference or the Awards Event. Everyone must be registered at the same time, during a single transaction. Please contact us if you need assistance. *Only one discount can be applied per attendee. 

HOTEL

Please note, hotel availability is limited and may sell out on some select dates.  Room availability will fluctuate on a daily basis, therefore we encourage you to check availability at the AAS23 Headquarters hotel here prior to seeking alternative accommodations.  If your requested dates are sold out, there are several nearby hotel options to consider.  The AAS23 host site, the Portland Marriott Waterfront hotel address is 1401 SW Naito Pkwy, Portland, OR 97201

 

Q: How can I book my hotel? 

A: Book your hotel at the AAS special rate of $219 plus taxes and fees. To receive the best rate, book your room on or before March 27, 2023.
